Shilajit and everyday balance

A calm, steady daily ritual

Busy lives call for simple routines. For centuries, shilajit has been part of traditional practices that focus on resilience and balance. Here is what that means, and what it does not.

Traditional perspective

Why shilajit is part of balanced routines

01

A traditional adaptogen

In Ayurveda, shilajit is regarded as a rasayana, traditionally used to help the body cope with the demands of daily life.

02

Supports everyday vitality

Many people take it each morning as part of a routine to support everyday energy and wellbeing.

03

Naturally occurring minerals

Shilajit contains naturally occurring trace minerals alongside fulvic compounds, as shown in our batch lab reports.

04

A moment for yourself

Preparing a warm cup with shilajit is a small, mindful ritual that fits into a calm start to the day.

An honest note

Shilajit is not a treatment for anxiety

Research on shilajit and stress is mostly from laboratory and animal studies, and it is still early. Shilajit is a traditional food supplement. It is not a substitute for medical care, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat or cure anxiety, depression or any other condition.

If you are struggling with stress or anxiety, please speak with a doctor or a qualified mental health professional. Good sleep, movement, daylight and support from people around you all matter too.

How to take it

A pea-sized portion, once a day

Dissolve a pea-sized amount of resin (around 300 to 500 mg) in warm water, tea or milk. Stir until fully dissolved and drink, ideally in the morning. Start with a smaller amount and follow the directions on the jar.
