From the mountains of Gilgit-Baltistan to your hands
Every jar of Himalayan Shilajit begins on a remote rock face high in the mountains, and passes through the hands of people who have lived alongside this resin for generations. This is the story of how it reaches you.
Where it began
A family that has lived with shilajit for years
Long before Himalayan Shilajit became a brand, shilajit was part of our family's daily life. Our founder, Zahir Ali, has made shilajit for 14 years and has taken it himself, together with his family, for more than a decade.
In 2019 we decided to share it with the world in the same form we use at home: real resin, prepared the traditional way, with nothing hidden about where it comes from or how it is made.

Six steps, one controlled process
We do not buy finished shilajit from middlemen. Our own team manages every stage, so we can stand behind every batch.
Gathered by hand
Local highland collectors in Gilgit-Baltistan gather raw shilajit from rock formations at high altitude, where the Himalaya, Karakoram and Hindu Kush meet.
Checked at the source
Our team grades the raw material at the mountain and records the collection area, so every batch stays traceable.
Gently cleaned
In our own facility the raw rock is dissolved in water, filtered and purified to remove stones, soil and impurities.
Dried by the sun
The purified resin is slowly sun-dried on our glass drying deck, with temperature checked throughout, following traditional methods.
Independently tested
Every batch is tested by an independent third-party laboratory, not in-house. Lab reports are published for you to read.
Packed and shipped
Finished resin is packed in our certified facility and shipped to customers across the USA, UK, Europe, the Middle East and beyond.
