What is pure Himalayan shilajit resin?
Pure Himalayan shilajit resin is a natural, tar-like mineral resin that seeps from high-altitude rock in the Himalaya. It has been traditionally valued in Ayurvedic wellness practices and contains naturally occurring trace minerals and fulvic compounds. Resin is its least-processed form, compared with powders and capsules.
Where does your shilajit resin come from?
It is collected by hand above 17,000 ft in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, where the Karakoram, Himalaya and Hindu Kush ranges meet. Every batch is traceable to its collection area.
How do you take shilajit resin?
Take a pea-sized portion (about 500 mg) once a day, dissolved in warm — not hot — water, tea or milk. Follow the directions on your label, and speak with a healthcare professional if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication or have a medical condition.
How can I tell if shilajit resin is pure?
Pure shilajit resin is dark brown to black, firm when cool and soft when warm, and dissolves almost completely in warm water. The most reliable check is a recent, batch-specific Certificate of Analysis from an independent lab, which we publish on our lab reports page.
Is your shilajit resin lab tested?
Yes. Every batch is tested by an independent third-party lab, including Eurofins and AGROLAB Germany, for heavy metals and microbial safety.
How long does one jar last?
At one serving (about 500 mg) a day: 30g lasts about 2 months (60 servings), 50g about 100 days, 100g about 200 days, and 250g about 500 days.
Is it Halal?
Yes. Our shilajit resin is produced in a Halal-certified facility that is also GMP, ISO 22000 and HACCP certified.
